Hawk Pool

Hawk pool (14 pegs) is just over an acre in size and has a pool record of 409lb 8oz (also venue record) set by Matty Dawes on peg 1 on 29th July 2020. It is between 16 and 25mts to the islands, and a stone track around the pool it offers comfortable fishing for everybody. With carp between to 10lb, and f1s between to 5lb, thousands of ide, and some small tench and crucians, so there is plenty to go at. Best methods for summer are pole shallow, paste and corn on the pole, method or pellet feeder to the island, and in winter long pole, waggler, and feeder with pellets maggots bread and corn.

Most pools with island’s, the corner pegs would be cut off from any features neighboring anglers…. Not here! We have put under water features in the form of stone bars within pole range so EVERYBODY has a feature, these features in particular seem to hold the carp.

It is to be noted though that these pegs will not have an island cast, pegs 6, 12, 14.
